This lesson includes some articles for students to read and draw information from so students can develop their research and interpretation skills. You will need to download the articles yourself due to copyright. I found them easily on a basic google search. KS3 lesson on Genetic modification, looking at what it is, some examples and then discussion on what the problems could potentially be with GMOs. Lesson includes video, discussion, questions and activity where students need to create a cartoon strip on how GMO are created. If you would like to use an alternative activity, you could get students researching and writing a newspaper article on GM crops and the advantages and disadvantages.
