Detailed evidence is presented to students who are asked to categorise and evaluate change and continuity and the role of factors. In summary pupils will complete a one-page sheet to sum up the main developments. They are then asked to evaluate two interpretations of Medieval medicine and determine which they agree with the most. There is also a how useful question with structure strip. This has proved really effective when used in class and in interventions. More able students have also been able to use as homework.

The booklet has been created by to simplify the complex ideas from several textbooks whilst ensuring that all content is included to fully prepare students for answering exam questions. The PowerPoint has answers to all questions pupils are asked to answer, diagrams explaining core ideas and answers to all of the knowledge tests and retrieval practice. This has taken me 4 years to produce and rework until I am happy that it is all the pupils need.
