This resource includes 6 whole class guided reading sessions based on Horrible Histories Frightful First World War. It has been planned for a Year 6 class but can be easily adapted to suit other year groups. The resource includes teaching slides (which include opportunities for differenciation), extracts from the text and questions. I have also got an accompanying English unit for non-chronological report available.
