I use this sheet with SEN kids and don’t point out the relationship beforehand - it’s a great sense of gratification for them when they figure out the pattern, and don’t have to do any more maths to solve the problems!

A PowerPoint aimed at SEN biology: Animal Adaptations and Ecosystems. Explores three possible ways dinosaurs became extinct, and a lead review on the students conclusion. An alternative end for the lesson in a CORE classroom would be to create a poster/ write a paragraph on their decided method of extinction, or have them research more information on their decided method.

This is the first set of questions I use to introduce trickier division problems then those in the times tables. These questions are great for introducing the ‘bus stop’ form of writing division, as well as easing into trickier forms.
