Hi everyone, Teaching tenses and especially the present perfect in French can be difficult but here’s a resource that should help you teach the present perfect tense in a fun and dynamic way. This lesson is aimed at children and teenagers but it can be adapted for the needs of adults. It contains a powerpoint with 17 slides and an activity booklet with 5 pages so that students can keep a track of their learning. It contains 11 activities in total. 1. As an introduction to the lesson students are invited to set themselves a target so that they own their learning (3 targets are offered as part of differentiation) 2. The lesson starts with a reading activity where students need to identify the verbs and make suggestions about the use and formation of the verbs. It is followed by a correction. 3. The teacher introduces the utilization of the present perfect tense 4. The teacher introduces the formation of the tense according to the three groups but also the formation with the use of être/avoir and the agreements 5. Focus on the negative form with all three groups 6. Students match up the beginning and end of sentences to check the understanding of the structure 7. Introduction to most irregular verbs 8. 3 progressive exercises 9. a writing activity 10. jeopardy in teams. Students need to say complete sentences according to the sentences they see on the board. 11. Review of objectives. Hi everybody The end of the year is not far, so here's a nice quiz for your students to review what they know about France and its culture (History, geography, food, sport, celebrities, brands etc!) It contains a powerpoint and booklet with 51 questions + answers about France and French culture with: - 15 general questions - 36 questions divided into sections (geography, food, celebrities, monuments, music, culture) - answers at the end Enjoy! As a suggestion, have your students to work in groups and use the booklet. It's more challenging and creates a good team work at the end of the year. All the questions are in French and I added the english question if needed.

It contains 23 pages /including the presentation with - survival phrases with the pronunciation - basic topic vocabulary (greetings, introduction, family, where you live, shopping for food, eating and drinking, food items, shopping for clothes, directions and ordering a meal) - monuments not to miss in Paris - a subway map It can be used on your tablets/phones while travelling which makes it easy to use at any time.
