What exactly is impeachment? In U.S. History, only three presidents have been impeached. Those presidents were Andrew Johnson , Bill Clinton and Donald Trump(impeached twice) None were convicted during a trial and finished out their terms of office. President, Richard Nixon, was going to be impeached but he resigned, pressured by members of his own Republican party, before he was impeached. We need to develop digital critical literacy with our students so they can try and determine the difference BEFORE they hit “send” to all their friends.
