Full set of Business Taboo cards (colour coded by syllabus focus) with both PDF and Publisher formats!
Each topic is colour coded so the teacher can either mix the topics up or remove the topic that is the focus for revision
I print them out, laminate them and cut them up to give a full pack of cards to use for revision or just to add an element of competition to the Business classroom.
You can also edit the Publisher files to create your own and there are blanks which you can print out and then get students to complete their own cards for any other vocabulary they want to revise.
The aim of all my resources is to provide lessons / activities of good quality that will add value to your lessons / schemes of work.
All activities and resources have been used in class and any errors will be fixed and resources updated as soon as I am aware of any errors. I have priced my resources at what I consider to be a reasonable cost based upon the amount of effort and work I have put into them but all comments and suggestions are very welcome and will be used to improve future resources.

Tarsia puzzle to test if students understand pricing strategies in marketing. You will need the free software from mmlsoft to open and print the files out. Solution is included.
This is a full lesson with all resources to teach students how to draw shapes in Scratch (good for KS3 and I normally use it with KS3.)
All worksheets are included with Powerpoint and a quick video explanation that can be shown to students.
Students have to draw simple shapes in scratch from triangles up to circles which teachers them how loops work and how to conceptualise an algorithm. Loops inside loops can also be used as extension to draw some great geometric art.
Learning objectives are:
Understand simple algorithm design
Know how to identify important ideas (abstraction)
Understand how to break a problem into manageable units (decomposition).
Know what repetition is (iteration)
Extension task 2 also included for more difficult shapes
End of unit test for Binary / Hex / Decimal Conversion (with answers).
There are 10 questions for each conversion for a total of 60 questions e.g. •Binary to Hex / Hex to Binary
•Decimal to Binary / Binary to Decimal
•Decimal to Hex / Hex to Decimal
Two versions - easier and difficult for a Tarsia puzzle to test if students can do conversions between Decimal / Binary / Hexadecimal. These puzzles are quite challenging but are great for revision
You will need the free software from mmlsoft.com to use this resource.

This is my take on getting students to use their simple binary knowledge (they have looked at binary and how up to 5 bits works) and now it’s time to take this knowledge and use a simple task (1 bit binary which means two colours) and then progressing to 3 bit combinations (allowing for 8 colours).
There are two spreadsheets that can be used which are available here and these can be shared with students.
Task 1 is a simple 10 X 10 grid with 2 colours
Task 2 is a 15 X 15 grid that allows 8 colours to be used
