Ventilation, Gas Exchange & The alveolus - Based on the AQA Specification - this lesson covers:
- the mechanism of ventilation in terms of changes in the main parts of the gas exchange system and changing pressures.
- gas exchange in the alveoli, in terms of particle diffusion.
- explaining in terms of SA:Vol ratio, how the alveoli are specialised for gas exchange and name two other factors which allow for efficient gas exchange.
