I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

3 Figure Bearings

This is a PDF consisting of 18 diagrams showing a journey from A to B. Angles are given, sometimes from North but more often from South or East or West. Students need to give the 3 Figure Bearing. I used this when teaching Bearings to Key Stage 3 but it is useful to recap at Key Stage 4 where would always ask the question - “And what is the reverse bearing ?”

Division Of Fractions

This is a PDF consisting of 52 questions on division of fractions. This PDF is written as 2 questions each with 26 parts, question 1 uses fractions only while question 2 uses mixed numbers. With these worksheets I used questions in one column as examples, the second column was then used for class/homework leaving extra questions for either revision or extra practice if necessary. We always felt that too many questions was better than insufficient. This worksheet is part of the suite which is sold as Fractions for KS3 which includes the answers. Any comments are welcome through our facebook page.
