I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

This is 2 worksheets on graphing inequalities + a couple of starters that can be used as plenaries too. In total there are around 50 questions asked here - aimed at GCSE higher level, students are expected to be able work out the equation of a line and hence use inequalities to describe the area above or below that line. An excellent worksheet which students usually find a little demanding but interesting. Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

This is a revision booklet I created to help some of my weaker students with number work at higher GCSE level There are 50 questions but I hit the questions that they always found difficult - surds, fractional and negative indices, reverse percentages etc. The questions were based on those I have come across from my work as an examiner and are very similar in nature. Answers are not included this time. Hope you find it useful.

A variety of questions set to challenge all pupils on their understanding of recurring decimals. A topic that is much overlooked in modern teaching !!! This pdf consists of 40 questions (with answers) to push home students understanding of recurring decimals and their fractional equivalent. This is a great worksheet for an end of topic task, homework, classwork or revision sheet. I hope you find this useful !! (did you know that the modern Casios have a facility for recurring decimals - its above the squared button). Answers are included We welcome all reviews - thank you.

GCSE Calculator Practice (challenge) - With Answers

This is a great challenge aimed at higher level students who need to know how to use all the functions on their calculator. This is a PDF of 2 questions, each with 26 parts, which I set as a challenge to all students sitting higher level GCSE. Although the focus is on the use of a calculator I couldn’t resist including some estimation (throughout Q1) and approximations Q1 and Q2 just to top it off. No student has ever achieved 100% on these questions though I was always really pedantic in marking. Answers are included. Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you

This is a well structured and thought out worksheet on the Related Rates of Change. Great for an end of topic worksheet, homework or revision sheet these questions cover everything you will need to teach this topic fully. Answers are included. All you need for 'A' level Trigonometry

5 Resources
This is a set of worksheets in pdf format with everything you need to learn, teach or revise ‘A’ Level trigonometry. All come with answers This set of worksheets have been written by teachers and examiners and have been successfully used with students for many years. Some of these topics are covered well in text books (others less so) but we decided to compile a set of questions that cover every aspect from all angles. In many cases this sheets pick up where the text books leave off and go right up to preparing for exam standard questions.

Revise 'A' Level Trigonometry - with answers

This pdf consists of 20 questions which I have used in the revision process for more able students. 20 ‘A’ Level standard questions covering the whole topic of Trigonometry. These are difficult questions which should only be attempted in the revision process. Topics covered include: compound angles double angles acos(x) + bsin(x) Identities solving equations most of the questions are in radians These questions are challenging - be careful with them as the could dent the confidence of some pupils. Answers are included

Compound Angles - With Answers

This pd.f consists of 40 questions of 8 different types all involving compound angles. (I think one question uses double angles but that is fair game). This set of questions is ideal for end of topic or revision as some of the questions involve surds and algebraic manipulation. My students have always found this topic a little cumbersome and books rarely do it justice so these questions provide a bridge between what is in text books and what to expect in the exams. ** Answers are included.**

This pdf consists of 13 problems written in context each of the form ab^x or ax^b. Each question is slightly different so that student’s understanding is maximised. Problems involving A.P.s and G.P.s + Answers

This pdf consists of 7 problems with Arithmetic and / or Geometric series in context. I have included an A.P and G.P fact sheet which may prove useful. Problems like this are not too common at ‘A’ level but they need to be taught so I always covered these 7 main points. A problem in context throws up interpretation problems which cannot occur with just algebra. I think this is an invaluable lesson. Answers are included.

A.P.s and G.P.s + Higher grade questions + Answers

An added bonus This set of worksheets consist of the sheets on A.P.'s and G.P’s and the harder questions which require some individual thought. This is everything I have used to teach Series for the last 35 years and I think the only other questions required are practical applications and exam questions which textbooks cover in abundance. Answers are included.
