I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. This is a pair of PDF worksheets covering the introduction to the Normal distribution. The first sheet has approximately 30 questions, which boil down to using the calculator and standardization. Questions involve finding, p(z > a), p(x < a), finding the mean, the standard deviation and those questions that involve finding both. In total there are over 80 subquestions - this is a great resource for examples, homework and classwork - really too many questions. The second sheet is around 30 questions on practical applications of the Normal (modelling) - these boil down to the student needing to interpret worded questions into the basic format given in sheet 1 All answers are included. This is two Powerpoint presentations, one for foundation level / Key stage 3 and the second is for higher level - they all show a line and asks for the equation of the line. In the first presentation he y intercept is always given so this reduces the it to Foundation Level at GCSE or Key Stage 3. The second presentation is higher level only as the intercept is not given and it includes questions involving perpendicular lines. There are over 30 straight line graphs, different scales have been used as well as negative gradients, vertical and horizontal lines. Great as a starter - slides can be removed if you wish.

This is a massive amount of work for only £3 6 PDFs + Answers covering everything you will need on fractions for KS3 and KS4. Too demanding for KS2 and less able KS3 though !!! Cancelling Fractions - 25 questions getting progressively more difficult and finishing with a few worded questions. Top - Heavy Fractions and Mixed Numbers - almost 50 questions changing between the two forms. Addition and Subtraction Of Fractions - I grouped these together but there are 12 questions on adding followed by 12 on subtraction followed by 12 mixed and then 25 using mixed numbers !!! - over 60 questions Multiplication of Fractions - 26 questions on multiplication including mixed numbers followed by some worded questions. Division of Fractions - 26 questions on division including several with mixed numbers. Fractions of an amount - 15 worded questions covering fractions of an amount - using larger numbers and questions are more detailed than the usual KS2 sheets that I have seen. Answers are included !!

Aimed at the higher level GCSE pupl, this is a phenomenal set of graphs in two formats: Students are shown 42 different graphs and have to work out the equation of the graph using roots and intercepts. I have used this Powerpoint for years and students always find it useful. Graphs include: Straight Lines Quadratics Cubics Power curves Square roots Reciprocals Trigonometrical and even one Quartic. You can, of course, rearrange the slides and take some of the more difficult questions out if you wish. It is an excellent exercise or starter. I have included the Powerpoint and the same 42 graphs on a PDF for tutors and revision. These took a tremendous amount of work and are absolutely priceless. Aimed at higher level GCSE students, this is a set of worksheets I use to teach my top set how to use the Sine, Cosine and Tangent graphs. There are four worksheets and a display poster which I have always used as a refresher. Useful Trig Values - this is the display sheet which reminds pupils to learn the value of Sin 30°, cos 45° etc. The Sine Of Any Angle - Starts with the graph of y = sin(x) between 0° and 360° and asks students to find the angle whose sine is 0.5 etc. - no point in asking them to find the sine of 150 though as the calculator will do this. The Cosine Of Any Angle - obviously the same idea as the first sheet but using Cosine. The Tangent Of Any Angle - and the same again but using Tan graph.
