I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

Division Of Fractions

Division Of Fractions

This is a PDF consisting of 52 questions on division of fractions. This PDF is written as 2 questions each with 26 parts, question 1 uses fractions only while question 2 uses mixed numbers. With these worksheets I used questions in one column as examples, the second column was then used for class/homework leaving extra questions for either revision or extra practice if necessary. We always felt that too many questions was better than insufficient. This worksheet is part of the suite which is sold as Fractions for KS3 which includes the answers. Any comments are welcome through our facebook page.

The Area Of Any Triangle is a great worksheet for practicing Sine and Cosine rule and the formula Area = 0.5abSin©. It is aimed at grade 7 - 9 students. There are four different types of questions. Simple - given two sides and the included angle, use the formula to find the area. Given the area, find a side or an angle. Harder - decide which angle you need to be able to find the area and then use the Sine rule or Cosine rule to find it first. Applications - finding the area and then using the area to find the shortest distance from one vertex to the opposite side. Recently added - An extra page with some level 9 questions involving surds and the are of a parallelogram - a couple of nice questions I found which you may find useful.
