I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

This is a short PDF covering all that you need on Permutations and Combinations for ‘A’ level. Though rarely asked it is an essential part of the ‘A’ level syllabus particularly when combined with probability. I have provided the methodology in the answers for any students who use this. Hope it is of some use. Answers are included. Please provide feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

This is a relatively short PDF covering all the main points that students need on Inverse Functions. Around 20 questions in total - this set of questions are ideal for a homework or revision set. Answers are included. Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

Graphical Transformations for 'A' Level - the full set

6 Resources
This is everything you need to teach transformations of curves at ‘A’ level Individual exploration of Exponentials, Logarithms, Modulus, Quadratics and Trigonometry Each one given as two PDFs - ‘Can you draw the transformation’ and then ‘Can you identify the transformation’ 12 Transformations for each curve And then one PDF of an assortment of transformations -(I included a couple of cubics too) A tremendous amount of fiddly work has gone into these worksheets so the total price of £10 is well worth it - think of the time you’ll save yourself. Bundle price is £7.50 - and I think that is a bargain. Hope you find them useful Answers are included.

Modulus Algebra - over 30 questions with answers

This is a pdf on solving equations and inequations with the modulus function. I have tried to cover every type of question that may be asked at ‘A’ level and have made the worksheet very extensive as a result. These can be tricky so the answers have bee checked thoroughly by more than one. Hope you find this as useful as I have over the years. Answers are included Please provide feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

This is a pair of PDFs on the transformation of the Log graph. The first PDF gives you 12 copies of the Log graph and requests the student to draw 12 transformations - answers are provided. The second PDF gives you the same 12 graphs and asks you to identify the transformations. These questions took an age to draw and will save you so much time in preparation.

This is a one page PDF of 24 questions on finding the range given any function and a domain. These questions start easy enough but I have included: Turning points Trigonometry Exponentials and Logarithms Reciprocals Modulus Modulus and Trigonometry It is a great set of questions I have used to discuss the shapes of graphs and the transformations that have been employed. This is a far more useful set of questions than it initially appears to be. Answers are included Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you

This is a collection of almost 50 Trig identities that I have collected over the years. They are not in order of difficulty but I see no reason why an ‘A’ level groups should not work through them as a collective group effort. - there’s a good idea for a lesson. Obviously answers are not included but all identities have been checked. Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.
