Hello Everyone and welcome to my TES shop!
I have been teaching for 10+ years in Wales and England and BTEC since 2019 - always with excellent results.
I have found the lack of resources available from BTEC for level 2 and 3 frustrating to say the least, so over my time I have created and compiled resources that have worked for me.
Please leave a review for your purchases, it will help me to refine and improve my reources for the future!

Here are some resources I have put together to support students in achiving distinction criteria for unit 6
LAA - article
LAB - logbooks/skills audit and milestone (they must do 4 - 4 being their final performance)
LAB/C - Final 2 week plan (before their final performance)
Here are some worksheets I have created for unit 3 - Ensemble Music for the Level 3 BTEC in Music Performance (from 2018)
These have helped mine in the past and I have found they support the students with their thinking in practice sessions before the real activities are filmed
A selection of resources to support students across LAA, LAB, LAC of Unit 1 (Level 3 BTEC Music Performance)
My students study the National Extended Cert
In this bundle you have the following:
planned lessons for all aspects of LAA
full student guide / checklist for students to use when completing their LAA assignment
distinction example that has been SV’d
example assessment record for the whole unit
LAB examples of distinction responses (with the chord sequences I provide, you’ll just have to put them into whatever software you use for notation or DAW) that have been SV’d
LAB lessons on creating a melody and adding harmonies/rhythms
LAB Practice/Trial activities (which could also be used as real ones)
as above, some basic lessons for LAC on adding chords to melodies inc cadences (I tend to do a lot of modelling for my students which works rather than heavy PPTs)
Distinction responses (where you can see/use my melodies I provide for my students) across LAC which have been SV’d
I plan on adding some for LAD - please watch this space (but FYI I give mine an arrangement I found on musescore (piano reduction) of under the sea and they love it. Also Distinction SV’d
