Adapted from the book - this text was used in the innovation stage of the english unit - aimed at Year 2 but this could be easily adapted for another year group
Our Trip to the Beach KS1 Report Writing ( reading comp included)
This was a non fiction unit based on a trip to the local beach. In this bundle I have included a print out of the text, a powerpoint and also a reading comprehension linked to the text. I have included lots of common exception words in the text to support spelling assessment.

Spelling Detectives Intervention Phase 3 Spelling KS1
I have created this intervention for KS1 classes for a group intervention. This is designed for children who have gaps in Phase 3 spelling skills. Look out for my Phase 5 version too! This is a whole terms intervention and I have seen amazing results from using these plans with small groups of children. I suggest doing a phase 3 spelling test and then picking the plans suited to the group to tailor the intervention.
