AQA Trilogy / triple C5 Energy changes revision

(2)
Made using the AQA Trilogy specification. Contains 1 slide of activities to complete for the C5 topic - lots of tricky calculations to get to grips with and a good way of identifying which need to be revised. I give these out at the end of each topic and also before holidays for exam preparation. I have made the boxes equal sizes so that they can be blown up onto A3 card to create revision cards for intervention/ starters/ plenaries Maths skills and RPAs are incorporated More of these on the way for all AQA units, RPAs and maths skills. Feedback welcome

Made using the AQA Trilogy specification. Contains 1 slides of activities to complete for the C3 topic - lots of tricky calculations to get to grips with and a good way of identifying which need to be revised. I have also included the AQA periodic table for the back of the worksheet/ project/ place on tables. I give these out at the end of each topic and also before holidays for exam preparation. This resource is differentiated by task and also by time to be spent on each. Red activities = hardest, Orange = medium demand Green = easy The stars represent the time to be spent on each ( I change this depending on the ability of the group/ student e.g. each star represents 2 minutes) I usually display on the board and students work on A3 or print for lower ability classes. Could be cut up and used as flashcards

The periodic table

(2)
For my lesson two sets periodic table cards were cut up and laminated (2 different colours helps if they get mixed up!) One set was given out to the students and I kept the other and for that lesson students were picked at random for questioning using their element symbol. Their element then became their homework - researching their element.
