This is a complete pack of resources for the poetry unit that forms part of the AQA GCSE English Literature: Paper 2 examination. This pack is for the ‘Power and Conflict’ section of the AQA anthology - not the ‘Love and Relationships’ section!
In this pack, there are 16 PowerPoints: the first one in the pack is an introduction to the poetry unit of the exam, whilst the rest focus on the poems individually. They each include information and activities on themes in the poems, key quotations, the methods used by the poets, how we respond as readers to the poems and contextual links. There are also practice exam questions, as well as helpful templates for students to write paragraphs in their responses. Each PowerPoint includes helpful tips for teachers using the slides, along with many hyperlinks to videos and links to other slides within the PowerPoint.
