This resource includes some ‘Ten Men Ten Frame’ cards. A blank worksheet which can be laminated and used with counters and a worksheet.

Activity Idea This resource can be used by turning the cards over and asking the children taking part to select a random card. Ask them to count how many beans they can see on their card and write the number in the bean tin. Here is a fun resource you can place on your classroom door to make the morning greeting more fun. The children can read the number as a word or number sentence to press the correct number. This can be changed weekly or daily. You could even ask the children to press one more or one less than a number you say or read the number as a word to them. I have designed this to allow children some freedom to chose which challenge they would like to complete as they arrive in the morning. The writing mat can be laminated and used alongside the power point to allow the children somewhere to record their answers.
