Hello and thanks for popping by. I am currently working in a fantastic SEN school. I have worked teaching little minds from EYFS to 18 years old. I have taught inner city, EAL, high FSM/PP, and across many ages in different role. I love working with children! I hope my resources manage to save time and encourage children to think creatively. I have designed this to allow children some freedom to chose which challenge they would like to complete as they arrive in the morning. The writing mat can be laminated and used alongside the power point to allow the children somewhere to record their answers. This resource can be used in multiple ways. The place value activity allows children to work practically with dienes to draw and recognise place value. It will also allow children to recognise the given place value in a number- for example just highlighting the hundreds, tens or ones. The numbers as words resource also covers odd and even numbers and allows children to match the numbers to each word. The word mats/ charts and card can be laminated and placed into a tuff spot tray or organised as a class group as part of a hide and seek activity.

Perfect to use if your students are learning the alphabet or phonemes. I have used this by enlarging to A3 and laminating. This enables me to use the resource both inside and out. Students I have taught like to try and write the letter using chalk and use a paint brush to trace the letter afterwards. This resource can be used to support phonics and handwriting. To use just click the sound on the first slide and use on an interactive white board to role model writing each sound/ letter. The students will be able to practice both the upper case and lower case letter. The students can also use this themselves by following each letter with their finger.
