These can be used alongside my noun town resources. These worksheets enable students to write initial sounds or a list of nouns. Perfect to use if your students are learning the alphabet or phonemes. I have used this by enlarging to A3 and laminating. This enables me to use the resource both inside and out. Students I have taught like to try and write the letter using chalk and use a paint brush to trace the letter afterwards. I have designed this to allow children some freedom to chose which challenge they would like to complete as they arrive in the morning. The writing mat can be laminated and used alongside the power point to allow the children somewhere to record their answers.
