A comprehensive lesson pack on human gas exchange. The PPT contains a structured lesson and activities to complete in the structured notes and task booklet. There is also a pack of past AQA exam questions a diagram of the structures for students to annotate and an extension/creative writing task (called Olaf the oxygen molecule) for prep or for more capable students to have a go at with a guide mark scheme.
When giving the ‘Olaf’ task I have had students do amazing creative writing, make board games or story boards. It’s a great chance to get them thinking outside of the box. Some students choose to create a flow diagram which is a simple way to show they have the knowledge needed.
A comprehensive lesson pack including a PPT, structured notes for students to complete, practical with structured write-up, a worksheet, math problems and mark schemes.
The PPT includes an introduction to the principles of gas exchange, instructions for the practical and Fick’s law. Structured activities are built in throughout.
