These lesson cover the digestive system and digestive enzymes based on the new AQA Trilogy Specification.
I delivered these lessons to a low ability group over two lessons, the first introducing the digestive system and the second, introducing the role of enzymes in digestion.
The PowerPoints contain titles, lesson objectives and starters as well as graded success criteria, tasks to accompany each criteria and answers to the accompanying worksheets.
I have included two versions of the cells, tissues, organs and organ systems match up task - one that can be used A3 as a group task or one that can be used individually.

The A3 worksheet includes space for students to make a prediction, evaluate their experiment, complete a results table to record their results and make a conclusion.
I will be using this as a pair/group activity that the students will complete during the practical and then use to help them structure their own conclusion / evaluation of the practical experiment.

This revision aid was much appreciated by my year 11's in the run up to the exams this year!
These notes break down Biology 2 into the bare bones of what they need to know.
My groups found this helpful when answering practice questions and identifying areas that they needed to revise in more detail.
Following my production of my first set of Biology notes my groups were eager for me to produce the same for Chemistry and Physics as they found them extremely helpful.

This is a perfect tool for students to use in the run up to PPE's or their GCSE exams.
