I teach English Literature in the Seychelles and so follow the Cambridge specifications for iGCSE and A-level. I like to chose texts which are a little different for my students, and often this means there are initially very few pre-made resources available online. I try to focus on helping students memorise key quotes and internalise writing structures where possible; thus quotes sheets, 20 in 10s and example essay responses feature very highly in my resources.

My class struggled with the first lesson a little as their character analysis skills were weaker than I predicted, thus the second lesson builds from the first with a little more structured support.
