I teach English Literature in the Seychelles and so follow the Cambridge specifications for iGCSE and A-level. I like to chose texts which are a little different for my students, and often this means there are initially very few pre-made resources available online. I try to focus on helping students memorise key quotes and internalise writing structures where possible; thus quotes sheets, 20 in 10s and example essay responses feature very highly in my resources.

Two lessons planned for a review of Book 1 in the novel (The Shimerdas) and an exploration of the seasons of their effect on/links to key events. The second lesson focuses around an introduction to symbolism and ties in with the previous lesson. The full PPTs include the whole lessons with objectives, worksheets, review questions, sample responses for frame-working and discussion points - all fully resourced and explained in notes for the teacher. Fully resourced lesson for exploring Act 1 Scene 1 of 'Sweet Bird of Youth'. The lesson includes a PPT with notes for lesson plan and focuses extensively on passage-based questions and how to approach them. There is clear guidance on what the examiner will be looking for, an introduction to some key dramatic terms and a sample question as well as an exemplar paragraphed response. Originally planned for an Cambridge International AS group, this could easily be adapted for other syllabuses and age groups. I'm a new seller and would really appreciate any feedback.
