The Teaching Page when projected onto a screen or interactive whiteboard allows you to go through the standard algorithm for multiplication showing each step of the process to your class. Every time you press one of the randomising buttons it changes the 3 digit multiplicand. Each button represents a different multiplier from 2 to 9, so you have an endless set of examples to practice with. The two printable Dynamic PDF Worksheets provide an (almost) infinite number of practice questions . 12 questions are laid out on the page. When any of the buttons (at the bottom of the page) is clicked all the 3 digit multiplicand will change. On Worksheet 1 each button represents a different multiplier from 2 to 9 , so for example you can have a whole page of 3 digit numbers multiplied by 4, or 5 etc. On Worksheet 2 each button represents a range of multipliers e.g. 3 to 6. Each row of questions will multiply the 3 digit number by a different number, first row by 3, second row by 4 etc. Answers are generated automatically every time. UK National Curriculum. In this bundle of resources there are 4 worksheets, BUT within each worksheet there are between 6 and 9 buttons each of which opens up a page of 12 questions with a different divisor or set of divisors. Every time you click a button the dividends in the 12 questions are randomised. This will give you an almost endless source of worksheets allowing you to choose what is best for your pupils to practice. WS1: Dividing 3 digits by 1 digit numbers 2 to 9. Every page of questions is devoted to one divisor from 2 to 9. All the divisions will produce an exact answer. WS2: Dividing 3 digits by 1 digit numbers - Mix On this page each button will produce a page of questions with a mix of divisors: 2,3,4 / 4,5,6 / 5,6,7 / 6,7,8 / 7,8,9 and again all the divisions will produce an exact answer. WS3: Dividing 3 digits by 1 digit numbers 2 to 9 with Remainder. Every page of questions is devoted to one divisor from 2 to 9. All the answers will have a remainder. WS4: Dividing 3 digits by 1 digit numbers - Mix with Remainder Each button will produce a page of questions with a mix of divisors: 2,3,4 / 4,5,6 / 5,6,7 / 6,7,8 / 7,8,9 and again All the answers will have a remainder. Worksheet 3:Numbers with 3 d.p. need to be rounded to either the nearest whole number, to 1 d.p. or 2 d.p. In this worksheet the language of the questions is more varied. Answers are automatically generated. Multiplying Polynomials - Worksheets

Worksheets for practicing multiplying monomials, binomials, trinomials, and polynomials with four or more terms, with and without exponents. Every Worksheet has 12 questions, which start simple but then develop gradually with questions 11 & 12 being more challenging. The 6 Sets are also arranged in an order that will hopefully help you to plan building the students’ knowledge, skills and confidence with multiplying polynomials. By being able to randomise the numbers in the questions at the click of a button you will be able to generate sufficient worksheets for as much practice throughout the year as is needed to keep the skills alive. Worksheet Set 1 Students are asked to multiply simple monomials by (mainly) binomials, with some tri- & a quadri- nomial. There are no exponents to calculate. Worksheet Set 2 Students are required to multiply binomials by a monomial, moving a stage further to include exponents in each term. Worksheet Set 3 This set involves multiplying two or more monomials each with a number of variables with exponents. Worksheet Set 4 Students now practice multiplying two binomials which will include calculating multiplying variables with exponents, plus the added step of needing to combine like terms to obtain the final answer. Worksheet Set 5 This Set contains questions that include multiplying binomials by trinomials, trinomials by trinomials and trinomials raised to the power of 2 and 3 and students will practice combining like terms. Worksheet Set 6 This has an extra element in that instead of only using the standard algorithms for multiplying polynomials there is an alternative using Pascal’s triangle as a way to calculate binomial terms raised to various powers through recognising the symmetry of the powers and building of the coefficients for each term. There is additional support material for this set. Answers are automatically generated every time. Note These resources work with the official Adobe Acrobat Reader on Windows or Mac computers.

These worksheets & digital teaching materials on comparing numbers and identifying whether a number of objects in one group is greater or less than the number of objects in another group will help your pupils to: understand the concept of comparison using the words “more than”, “less than” or “equal to”; compare numbers up to 10 and 20; practice counting up to 10 objects using either matching or counting strategies. express the above concepts with words and / or symbols They are divided into two sets: Comparing quantity of objects Worksheet Set 1: Are there MORE …(comparing number of objects) Worksheet Set 2: Are there LESS … (comparing number of objects) Comparing numbers Worksheet Set 1: Comparing Numbers to 10: “more than”, “less than” or “equal to” Worksheet Set 2: Comparing Numbers to 10: >, = , < Worksheet Set 3: Comparing Numbers to 20: “more than”, “less than” or “equal to” Worksheet Set 4: Comparing Numbers to 20: >, = , < How many worksheets are in each set ? Lots and lots. At the click of a button all numbers are randomised, so the questions change every time which allows you to create new worksheets for extra practice or revision throughout the year or even give groups of pupils in your class different sets of questions.
