Advanced French Grammar: 50 Pronoun Challenge Cards

Advanced French Grammar: 50 Pronoun Challenge Cards

(0)
❖ Advanced French Grammar: 50 Pronoun Challenge Cards ❖ These 50 cards will provide your advanced French students a good challenge while practicing and reviewing pronouns. Many resources only include basic pronouns and don’t offer enough of a challenge. This is why I’ve created this set of cards. Each card includes instructions, a sentence to restate or rewrite using pronouns where indicated, a list of the types of pronouns students can choose from, and the answer is located upside down at the bottom of each card. This will allow students an opportunity to either work individually or in small groups and check their work as they go. Each card is numbered in case you decide to play a game and need that, but otherwise there is no order in which the cards must be used. I’ve laminated my set so that I can pull them out time and again for a quick pronoun review. There are enough of them that students won’t necessarily see the same ones over and over every time you pull them out. Great for test review or for seniors after a long break. Click here for more French pronoun resources. The following types of French pronouns are covered in this resource: ⭐Reflexive pronouns ⭐Disjunctive pronouns ⭐Indirect object pronouns ⭐Direct object pronouns ⭐Adverbial pronouns ⭐Relative pronouns ⭐Demonstrative pronouns ⭐Possessive pronouns

French verb FALLOIR - Present tense with indirect object pronouns

(0)
French verb FALLOIR - Present tense with indirect object pronouns This French lesson is for intermediate learners who have learned IL FAUT and INDIRECT OBJECT PRONOUNS. It is meant to show the many ways to use the verb FALLOIR - NEED without using the subjunctive. Students will learn the different meanings this verb can have and how to easily start speaking more like a French person in terms of expressing what they need (instead of using AVOIR BESOIN DE and DEVOIR). Here’s what’s included: Video tutorial - 23 minutes Thorough 1 page study guide - PDF 80 practice cards using FALLOIR + numbered answer key This resource includes two versions of the 80 practice cards. One version has four cards per page that you can print and cut them out in case you want your students to work with a partner or in small groups. The other version is a PDF with only one card per page so that you can either project them for a whole class activity or have students practice on their tablets or computers. This resource includes a video lesson which you may or may not choose to use, but even if you want to teach the lesson yourself I think you and your students will appreciate the one page study guide that is included. I’ve put all of the important information from my video lesson on it as well as some helpful hints. The 80 practice cards will help students to know how to talk about what they must do, what they have to do, and what they need.

Your students are going to love this set of 75 French verbs to use in the fast moving verb race game. This set includes 75 common -ER, -IR and -RE verbs. Classic verb race involves dividing the class into teams and one person from each team goes up to the board to conjugate faster than everyone else. I’ve included full instructions, tips and rules with this resource. Verb Race has always been a huge favorite in my classroom. In classic Verb Race it is usually the teacher who moderates the game, but in the instructions I’ll explain in great detail how you can play a student led game so that even your weakest students can participate and learn a ton. You can easily make a stack of -ER, -IR and -RE verbs using them as separate games until all three sets have been learned at which point you can put them back into one big stack. This grammar board game has a grid of 35 boxes. The first player to reach box 35 wins. There are lots of fun tricks along the way, so getting to the end isn’t always so easy! In groups of two to four, players take turns rolling a die to move their piece forward. Spaces are numbered and players follow the arrows to keep track of which way they’re moving. There are some spaces with special instructions: Départ - Start Avance de 5 cases - Move forward 5 spaces Recule de 5 cases - Move backward 5 spaces Rejoue - Play again Tu perds ton tour - Lose a turn Fin - End Use the passé composé question cards so that students must answer after rolling in order to move forward. If students answer the question correctly, they can move forward. If not, it’s the next player’s turn. There is a total of 150 playing cards. 50 of them can be used when teaching basic passé composé of regular verbs with avoir. There are also 50 that only use être, and another set of 50 to practice être or avoir with both regular and irregular verbs. All of the short sentences are written in the present tense, and some use negation. Students just need to restate the sentence in the passé composé. GCSE FRENCH: French Present Tense REGULAR VERB RACE GAME

VERB RACE is a fun and very exciting way to practice conjugations. Your students are going to love this set of 75 regular present tense French verbs to use in the fast moving VERB RACE GAME. This set includes 75 common -ER, -IR and -RE verbs. Classic verb race involves dividing the class into teams and one person from each team goes up to the board to conjugate faster than everyone else. I've included full instructions, tips and rules with this resource. VERB RACE has always been a huge favorite in my classroom. In classic VERB RACE it is usually the teacher who moderates the game, but in the instructions I'll explain in great detail how you can play a student led game so that even your weakest students can participate and learn a ton. I'm including a powerpoint version of the game WITHOUT ANSWERS and student response sheets should you want to project the game and play as a class or in small groups without moving out of desks and up to the board. Also with this resource you'll receive 75 task cards without responses (answer key included). You can use these cards in STATIONS, in a game of SCOOT or in classic BOARD GAMES. I recommend printing out the cards, laminating them if possible, cutting them out, punching holes in the space provided and hooking them together with a ring for years of NO PREP usage and verb conjugation review. Here's exactly what you get: 75 calling cards with answers - Black and white and color versions provided 75 numbered task cards without answers - Black and white and color versions provided Powerpoint version of 75 cards without answers How to play and other ways to use the cards Student response sheet Answer key
