Advanced French Grammar: 50 Pronoun Challenge Cards

❖ Advanced French Grammar: 50 Pronoun Challenge Cards ❖ These 50 cards will provide your advanced French students a good challenge while practicing and reviewing pronouns. Many resources only include basic pronouns and don’t offer enough of a challenge. This is why I’ve created this set of cards. Each card includes instructions, a sentence to restate or rewrite using pronouns where indicated, a list of the types of pronouns students can choose from, and the answer is located upside down at the bottom of each card. This will allow students an opportunity to either work individually or in small groups and check their work as they go. Each card is numbered in case you decide to play a game and need that, but otherwise there is no order in which the cards must be used. I’ve laminated my set so that I can pull them out time and again for a quick pronoun review. There are enough of them that students won’t necessarily see the same ones over and over every time you pull them out. Great for test review or for seniors after a long break. Click here for more French pronoun resources. The following types of French pronouns are covered in this resource: ⭐Reflexive pronouns ⭐Disjunctive pronouns ⭐Indirect object pronouns ⭐Direct object pronouns ⭐Adverbial pronouns ⭐Relative pronouns ⭐Demonstrative pronouns ⭐Possessive pronouns

❖ L’été - Summer - Discussion ciblée - French themed conversation questions ❖ Part of our series of “discussions ciblées”. List of 35 vocabulary words related to the SUMMER. Includes 20 discussion questions. The questions are suitable for upper level and AP French or for middle and high school French immersion. This resource is especially useful for your chapter on summer and seasons. The questions are fun, thought provoking, and will make for great discussions! You can print the list of words on one side of a page and the questions on the other side so that students can easily refer to the new vocabulary during their conversations. If you make a two sided copy everything will fit on one page. Also included is a set of speaking cards for students to use prior to using the discussion cards so that they can become familiar with the theme and many new words. The cards just need to be printed and cut out so that your students can use them in pairs or small groups. Each card says, “Décris le mot suivant en français et ton partenaire le devinera.” The vocabulary word is written both in French and English since many of the words will be new. This exposure to the vocabulary will make the discussion that follows flow easier. Students will still have easy access to the list of words on the other side of the photocopied questions. Don’t want to print? That’s ok! A PDF with just one card per page is included for easy projecting or for tablets.

Advanced French Grammar: 50 Challenge Cards using TOUT

❖ Advanced French Grammar: 50 Challenge Cards using TOUT ❖ 4 page grammar lesson with examples, 50 challenge cards, 50 cards with grammar explanations, and quiz/worksheet. This resource will provide your intermediate to advanced students with a good way to practice and review the many ways to use TOUT in French. A lot of resources only include basic information and exercises using TOUT as an adjective. Sometimes it is difficult to find a resource that mixes up all of the many different ways to use TOUT, and when to pronounce the S on TOUS. For example, “Ils sont tous contents” means “They are all happy” while “Ils sont tout contents” means “They are very happy.” The following ways to use TOUT are covered in this resource: ⭐As an adjective: TOUT - TOUS - TOUTE - TOUTES ⭐With adjectives: TOUT - TOUTE - TOUTES ⭐With adverbs and expressions: TOUT ⭐As a pronoun: TOUT - TOUS - TOUTES Here’s what is included: 50 sentence exercise (multiple choice and fill in the blank versions) 4 pages of grammar notes and examples Three sets of cards are included. One has sentences with blanks and multiple choice answers. These cards include the answer written upside down at the bottom of the cards. This will allow students an opportunity to either work individually or in small groups and check their work as they go. A PDF with one card per page is included if you prefer not to print and either project to do a whole class activity or have students work on computers or tablets. Another set is identical, but these cards don’t include the answers at the bottom. A third set includes the correct answer, an English translation, and a grammar explanation also in English so that students will know exactly why this is the response. A one card per page PDF is included for these cards as well. I’ve laminated my cards so that I can pull them out time and again for a quick review on the many ways to use TOUT. There are enough of them that students won’t necessarily see the same ones over and over every time you pull them out. Great for test review or for seniors after a long break.

La voiture - Cars and driving - French themed conversation questions

❖ La voiture et la conduite - Cars and driving - Discussion ciblée - French themed conversation questions ❖ Part of our series of “discussions ciblées”. List of 35 vocabulary words related to the cars and driving Includes 20 discussion questions. The questions are suitable for upper level and AP French or for middle and high school French immersion. This resource is especially useful for your chapter on cars and driving. The questions are thorough, though provoking, and will inspire great discussions. I like to print the list of words on one side of a page and the questions on the other side so that students can easily refer to the new vocabulary during their conversations.
