J'ai...Qui a? French months, days, seasons - I have...Who has?

J’ai…Qui a? French months, days, seasons - I have…Who has? This version includes 27 cards. Depending on class size you could either give each student more than one card or have them play with a partner. I recommend printing out and laminating these cards if possible so that you can use them over and over again. Here’s how this game works. Once each student has a card (or cards), the one who has the card that says Je commence le jeu begins the game. He says, for example, Je commence le jeu. J’ai mai, qui a août? The person who has the card with août on it says, J’ai août. Qui a jeudi? And so the game goes on until the last card is called and that student’s card will say, Le jeu est terminé! Another idea is to prepare two sets of cards, divide your class into two groups and let each group have a go to see which team can get through the entire deck of cards the fastest. It’s a lot of fun, and though you can play with younger students the older ones love this game just as much. LICENSING TERMS: This purchase includes a license for one teacher only for personal use in their classroom. Licenses are non-transferable, meaning they can not be passed from one teacher to another. No part of this resource is to be shared with colleagues or used by an entire grade level, school, or district without purchasing the proper number of licenses. Free French School Menu #5

Free French School Menu #5 Have a look at what’s on the menu at my kids’ school in France. Cheese every day!! I’ll be adding more menus weekly as I receive them. There are so many things a French teacher could do with these in class. It would be a fun cultural study to look up images of some of these menu items to show students what they look like and if they eat anything similar at their schools or homes. This could lead to a discussion on the length of time French students typically have to eat and rest as compared to students and teachers in your school.
