Aller - Present Tense French Tic Tac Toe Games - No Prep Printable Tic Tac Toe is a fun game that your students already know how to play, and it is a simple way to get them conjugating, writing, and speaking the verb aller in the present tense. This resource includes two worksheets with 6 tic-tac-toe grids per page. One worksheet is for speaking answers, and the other one is for writing them. Photocopy on the front and back for a no-prep set of 12 grids for differentiated learning. Students play in pairs, conjugating aller so that it agrees with the subject pronoun in each box, saying answers aloud or writing them to claim squares on tic tac toe grids. Three correctly conjugated verbs in a row wins the game. Students need to use different colored pens or markers when writing their answers.

French Greetings and Small Talk - No Prep Dots and Boxes Activity An easy and fun no-prep game that will elicit a lot of exposure to 60 different French greetings and small talk expressions. This is a one-page dots & boxes game including directions. This game can be laminated and used repeatedly with dry-erase markers or played on an iPad with annotation/whiteboard tools. Objective: Complete more boxes than your opponent. Each player draws lines using a different color. On your turn, make a horizontal or vertical line from one dot to another. Say the words on either side of the line you drew. If you complete a box on your turn, draw an X in the box using your color. Once all of the boxes have been completed, count to see who got the most.

This is a no-prep activity, just print and go. 2 answer keys and instructions are included. One answer key includes vocabulary for telling time with a 12 hour clock such as: et quart, moins le quart, et demie, moins vingt, etc. In order to win, students connect four boxes by filling them in saying the time correctly using the hours listed on the left and the minutes listed at the bottom of the game board. Students take turns filling in boxes until four are connected. At this point, they can check their work using the answer keys provided. If any of the times are stated incorrectly, the game continues.
