Powerpoint game (1 slide) that works on developing memory and clothing vocabulary. Clothing (20 pieces) enter one at a time (click to advance) & disappear behind the suitcase. At the beginning of each round student says "Je vais en vacances et dans ma valise je vais mettre" (text is permanently on screen) & mention clothing. Round 2: mention 1st, then 2nd item. The purpose of this activity is to use the ten vocabulary words pictured. This is a partner activity, each getting one-half of the page. Student A designates a box by calling its coordinates according to the pictures (“avere freddo e avere vergogna”). Student A then guesses which of the ten words are in that box on student B’s paper. Student B responds either “Hai ragione” or “Hai torto” and records the appropriate answer on his sheet. Students alternate turns until all of both sheets have been completed.
Role-play speaking activity. 10 distinct roles (have partners or make 2 sets depending on class size). Print on index cards. 10 people are on an airplane. They are to mingle and exchange information. Goal is to determine relationships between the 10 people.
