Print on cardstock and laminate to last for years to come. Make 1 board for every 2-4 students.
You will need 1 die per game and 1 token for each player.
All tokens start off of the board. Students take turns rolling the die to advance. If the student lands on a green ladder, he/she goes to the top of the ladder. If the student lands on a red slide, he/she goes to the bottom of the slide.
When landing on a number, the student must identify the school subject in the target language. If wrong, student goes back to original square and loses his/her turn.
Quiz has 2 sections. I - give the rules in French how to conjugate the imparfait, futur, conditionnel, plus-que-parfait and conditionnel passé. II - Student is given a sentence for 1 of the 3 sequences and must write the other two sequences.
Info gap partner activity. Students are to share information about 8 students and the supplies that they are buying (or have), the color, number and price.
This is a partner activity. Students take turns asking questions and answering at what time each class is. Directions are in English. Classes are represented by pictures and times are in numbers, so it may be used for any language.
Worksheet has a short section explaining the differences between these 3 French verbs. Then there are 15 sentences for the students to translate from English to French.
Worksheet has 24 sentences in French which are to be rewritten adding a phrase at the beginning (il faut, il est possible, je pense) and deciding whether the verb should remain in the indicative or change to the subjunctive.
This is a mixer activity; there are 12 unique student sheets (6 pages). Each student has 3 activities in French to survey classmates about, using the passe compose. Students are to record answers received; all answers are in the passe compose. Students must also answer their classmates’ questions. All verb groups are included; questions ask for additional information.
Worksheet has 17 fill in the blank sentences with s’en aller. Students are to determine which tense to use based on the context of the sentence. Good for advanced grammar / AP class.

This is an all-class activity. Pages 1-5 are about 5 different people; each page has a city and 3 pictures about the weather. 5 students stand at the front of the class; each student has one of the 5 pages. Students at seats take turns asking questions with yes/no answers to deduce which student has which city.

Format 1 does not have the word list included on student papers in order to make it more challenging, but the list is included for teacher reference. Format 2 has the word search with the vocabulary list in English; students need to translate the words and then find them in the puzzle. Partner activity. Each partner has half of the information that he must share in order for both students to complete their chart. Only the verb jouer is used. There are 3 columns with pictures: sport, instrument, game.
Partner speaking activity. Each chart has half of the information filled in; partners must communicate in French to complete their chart. Names are given in the left column and places in the top row. This can be adapted for different verbs (visiter, aller) or different tenses.
