I have taught all levels from kindergarten to adult continuing education. I love languages and am constantly working on improving and adding to them. I believe that if students have fun, they will learn faster and remember longer. I try to have students speak in the target language as much as possible during the limited time that they are in class.

Word search puzzle uses 16 vocabulary words for chores: apparecchiare la tavola, portare a spasso il cane, cucinare, fare bucato, lavare i piatti, lavare la macchina, passare l’aspirapolvere, portare fuori la spazzatura, pulire, rifare il letto, riordinare la camera, sparecchiare la tavola, spazzare, spolverare, tagliare il prato, vuotare il lavapiatti. 5 versions are included for each of 3 different formats - perfect for any level class and for differentiated lessons (a total of 15 unique puzzles). Format 1 does not have the word list included on student papers in order to make it more challenging, but the list is included for teacher reference. Format 2 has the word search with the vocabulary list in English; students need to translate the words and then find them in the puzzle. Format 3 has the word search with the list in Italian; students should translate the words into English and then find the Italian words in the puzzle.

Cards include digits and words in German for the numbers 0 to 1000; there is a total of 30 cards. Print on cardstock and cut into cards. Make 1 set for every 3-4 students. Place cards face up on the desk. If the teacher calls out a number in German, the first student to slap the digit card wins that point. If the teacher calls out a number in English, the first student to slap the right card in German wins that point.
