I have taught all levels from kindergarten to adult continuing education. I love languages and am constantly working on improving and adding to them. I believe that if students have fun, they will learn faster and remember longer. I try to have students speak in the target language as much as possible during the limited time that they are in class.

This is a mixer activity that uses school objects vocabulary, including 16 sets of twins. Each student gets a sheet with 5 pictures. Students mingle, speaking in the target language, trying to find their twin (the only other student with all 5 of the same pictures, but in a different order). This activity may be used on many different levels: : identify the object; describe the object; I have the object; I need the object; I am buying the object; how you use the object; change tenses; change verbs. Once twins find each other, they should find something that they really have in common (object both have in class today, etc) that is related to both the grammar and the vocabulary of the activity. This activity has pictures only so may be used for any language; the only text is in English - twin and in common.
