I have taught all levels from kindergarten to adult continuing education. I love languages and am constantly working on improving and adding to them. I believe that if students have fun, they will learn faster and remember longer. I try to have students speak in the target language as much as possible during the limited time that they are in class.

Crossword has clues with an infinitive and a subject pronoun. Includes regular verbs, stem changing verbs and irregular verbs. Students are to conjugate the verb in the present tense for the answer. 5 versions with vosotros. 5 versions without vosotros.

The object of the game is to collect a full family - 6 cards. The player with the most families at the end is the winner. Player 1 asks a player of his/her choice for a card belonging to a specific family; in this game each family is a different verb. In order to make the request, the player must already have at least 1 card belonging to that family. “En la familia (dar), busco (specific card).” If that player has the card, he/she hands it over. Player 1 continues asking for cards until he/she does not get what is requested. Player 2 then takes his/her turn. Once a family is collected, it is laid on the table in front of that player. Second version has only 5 cards per family - no vosotros. Uses: dar, estar, ir, saber, ser, haber, poder.

There are 36 different sheets. Each one has 4 questions and 4 answers for different questions (and “Das weiB ich nicht”). Students mingle, asking their questions until they find all of the answers. All questions and answers follow this pattern: Was isst X? X isst (food). Purpose is to practice food vocabulary and the conjugation of essen. Easy to edit if you want to use different vocabulary.

Uses the 10 most common irregular verbs: aller, avoir, être, faire, venir, mettre, prendre, vouloir, pouvoir, devoir. Print on cardstock and laminate to last for years to come. Make 1 board for every 2-4 students. You will need 1 die per game and 1 token for each player. All tokens start off of the board. Students take turns rolling the die to advance. If the student lands on a green ladder, he/she goes to the top of the ladder. If the student lands on a red slide, he/she goes to the bottom of the slide. When landing on a number, the student must correctly conjugate the verb. Can be used for any tense.
