I am currently studying Veterinary Science at Liverpool University having studied AQA Biology, Chemistry and Edexcel Geography at A level. I achieved A*AA in my A levels so am sharing my revision notes to help others achieve top marks. I also received 4/4 of my offers to Vet schools in the UK so have shared my interview preparation tips to help anyone who is preparing for Veterinary interviews:)

This detailed 6 page revision resource covers the WHOLE of section 3.3.11 (Amines) from the AQA A level Chemistry specification. The purple bullet points are copied directly from the AQA specification, with my own notes directly below each point to ensure that every aspect of the spec is covered.
I spent 2 years writing and refining these notes to ensure they contain ALL the essential material needed for the Amine topic in order to gain top marks in the exam. Included are detailed explanations as to how basicity varies, all mechanisms required for this topic, written chemical equations for each nucleophilic addition-elimination reaction of ammonia and primary amines with acyl chlorides and acid anhydrides and everything in between! I loved this topic and hope my notes can help you too!
** All the photos in this revision pack are from google images, I take no claim for them!** They’re used to aid with the notes.
This revision resource covers the WHOLE of section 3.2.5 (Reactions of ions in aqueous solution) from the AQA A level Chemistry specification. I’ve written out the full equations, state and colour changes for the elements the specifiation requires you to know AND a couple of extra elements that could potentially be asked about as appear in other parts of the specification (e.g. Chromium).
This resource is a must have as this part of the spec is simply “learn and churn” !! I spent a year working on these notes so that they are very specific and contain all the key facts:)
This 9 page revision resource covers the WHOLE of section 3.6.4 from the AQA Alevel Biology Specification: 3.6.4 Homeostasis is the maintenance of a stable internal environment, which includes the topics “Principles of homeostasis and negative feedback”, “Control of blood glucose concentration” and “Control of blood water potential.”
The purple bullet points are copied directly from the AQA spec, with my own notes directly below each point to ensure that every aspect of the spec is covered. This is one of the larger topics in the AQA specification and have come up every single year since the new spec was put into place so is a topic you really need to grasp thoroughly! Within this resource are “Key Info” text boxes containing essential key words and facts needed in order to achieve marks on the super specific AQA markscheme! I spent hours on this revision pack so hope you enjoy it too!
** ALL images on this revision resource are from Google images used to help with the understanding of this topic. I take no credit, they’re NOT mine!**
This revision resource covers the WHOLE of section 3.2.4 (Properties of period 3 and their oxides) from the AQA A level Chemistry specification. The purple bullet points are copied directly from the AQA specification which ensure that every aspect of the spec is covered. Then the following pages have a whole A4 side dedicated to the facts you need to know for each element in Period 3 for this specification. This resource is a must have a period 3 is mostly “learn and churn” !! I spent a year working on these notes so that they are very specific and contain all the key facts:)

This 9 page revision pack contains everything you need to know for the AQA A level Chemistry’s 3.2.5 “Transition Metals” topic. Including AQA exam questions and answers on “the formation of coloured ions” and a 6 marker on colorimetry. Also includes all the definitions in this topic, general properties, the chelate effect, Haem and oxygen, Shapes of complex ions, Spectroscopy and Colorimetry and how to calculate the value for ΔE. The GREEN bullet points are copied directly from the AQA specification which ensure that every aspect of the spec is covered. I spent hours perfecting this revision pack as Transition Metals is such a key Alevel topic in Chemistry so hope this helps you as much as it did for me:)

This 13 page revision resource covers the WHOLE of section 3.1.3 (Bonding) from the AQA A level Chemistry specification, one of the MOST important topics in the whole course. The green bullet points are copied directly from the AQA spec, with my own notes directly below each point to ensure that every aspect of the spec is covered. Throughout this resourse are tips that I learnt during my two years studying Chemistry Alevel including the key to successfully answering “comparing” questions in the exam about intermolecular forces, how to work out the shape of molecules/ ions and everything in between!
This resource contains both 3.1.10 Equilibrium constant Kp for homogeneous systems 3.1.6 Chemical equilibria, Le Chatelier’s principle and Kc.
Either one/ both these topics come up in the AQA A level Chemistry exams EVERY YEAR so it is essential you understand these topics thoroughly. I used these notes to achieve top grades so hope they help you too:)
This revision bundle contains topic 3.7 from the AQA Alevel Biology Specification: Genetics, Populations, Evolution and Ecosystems which includes the topics “Inheritance”, “Populations” and “Populations in Ecosystems.”
The coloured bullet points are copied directly from the AQA spec, with my own notes directly below each point to ensure that every aspect of the spec is covered.
These topics come up every single year without fail. This bundle contains revision notes on ALL of the 3.6 section of the AQA Alevel Biology specification including:
3.6.1 Stimuli, both internal and external, are detected and lead to a response
3.6.2 Nervous coordination
3.6.3 Skeletal muscles are stimulated to contract by nerves and act as effectors
3.6.4 Homeostasis is the maintenance of a stable internal environment
I used these notes to achieve top marks in my Biology A level and hope they will help you too!
A Bundle of the complete 3.2.5 TRANSITION METAL and 3.2.6 REACTIONS OF IONS IN AQUEOUS SOLUTION topics for AQA A level Chemistry course.
I’ve structured my revision notes so the specification is in bold and in colour, with the specific notes referring to each point of the spec directly beneath it so you really can’t go wrong!
I found that using lots of colour and different layouts made this topic more fun to learn, so hope you do too!
