I created these 10 stand alone activities to be used to support the basic teaching of Shakespeare plays within the National Curriculum as it can be at times boring for the children. This includes a basic introduction to Shakepeare. These resources were created for ages 8-11, but can also be used for lower ability groups ages 11 + where often more creative activities work to keep them interested and focused
Activities include:
Word Search, Crossword, Colouring, drawing.
Work sheets:
Facts on Shakespeare
Map of Verona
Problem Page
Article
Wanted Poster
Comic Strip
I have used these activities in many ways depending on the children I am teaching and ability. I have used them in ‘stretch and challenge’, and used them to create a homework booklet.
I hope you find them as useful as I have.

This is a resource I created to help my borderline grade 3/4 students, it is a ‘walkthrough’. I have based the Power Point on Paper 1, November 2018. I generally use this Power Point over 2 or 3 separate lessons.
I have found that borderline students often struggle with putting together a good answer, they often do not know key words to use or how to structure it. I use PEEZE and PEE which I think is standard. I also find that these students need short chunking activities to keep them interested.
I have created a separate worksheet that breaks each question down to help the students create an answer.
