Hello all! I'm Jinky, a primary maths teacher and Maths Academic Coordinator at Beaconhouse Yamsaard Rangsit, Thailand. One of my joy is to find time to take photos of anything I think interesting. If I am not chasing cats or taking photos, I am busy with putting pieces together and come up with colourful banners, borders for paper, numbers and alphabet. I am offering discounts for my resources from time to time. So, please check out my page. 'Thank you' for stopping by.

As a primary maths teacher, I truly believe using colours in the learning environment. I believe that colours provide unthreatening surroundings that improves visual processing, reduces stress and promote active learning. I always encourage my pupils to do their best when doing their worksheets and projects and reward them by putting them on display either on the Maths board or classroom. These two photos were used as displays during our Open House.

Calculating area of quadrants, semicircles and three-quarters can be a difficult task for young learners. As a primary children teacher, I usually create a colourful visual stimulation presentation to grab their attention. I add colours to make the demonstration more interesting yet informative. Each problem is followed by a clear instruction on how to attain the final answers. You may use this presentation as an introduction lesson and as a classroom game.
