Hello all! I'm Jinky, a primary maths teacher and Maths Academic Coordinator at Beaconhouse Yamsaard Rangsit, Thailand. One of my joy is to find time to take photos of anything I think interesting. If I am not chasing cats or taking photos, I am busy with putting pieces together and come up with colourful banners, borders for paper, numbers and alphabet. I am offering discounts for my resources from time to time. So, please check out my page. 'Thank you' for stopping by.

In Maths, &'ascending order&'; or 'descending order&' children will learn to arrange the number from the biggest to the smallest and also from the smallest to the biggest. Print, laminate and stick them on your vocabulary maths wall so pupils can remember and understand these words in maths logical way. Great to use for students of English as a second language. The concept of number bonds is very basic, an important foundation for understanding how numbers work. A whole thing is made up of parts. This poster has very helpful for my pupils and great as a time filler. Number bonds let children see the inverse relationship between addition and subtraction. I have laminated the numbers, stick them on the poster and let the children guess the missing numbers. Hope this gives you an idea for your number bond lesson.

KS3 Rounding Off Numbers in different currencies

Rounding off numbers is an important part of Maths and a very handy tool for everyday life. To introduce rounding off numbers to my pupils, I do an activity on the board using the numberline. This helps them to see it visually. It works for the many who do not understand why we round up for 5 and greater and round down for less than 5. It gets them in the habit of estimating amounts of money, lengths of time, distances, decimals and many other physical quantities. We practice a lot and mastered it comprehensively. As a result, this worksheet takes a little of their time.
