Two exemplars demonstrating how to write an effective article, focusing on the topics of tattoos and part-time jobs. Particularly useful for dissecting with HA students.
This is a typical non-fiction/transactional writing title around (the imaginary banning of) part-time jobs. I have written an example of a level 9 answer which would be a useful modelling tool for higher ability students. It draws on contemporary examples from the news so students see how they can incorporate their knowledge of current affairs into a lively and sophisticated response.
