INSTRUCTIONS: Print out two copies of each sheet. Print double-sided with a football design on one side. Lay cards face down and see if you can match a pair. The player who matches the most pairs is the winner!

Game 1: Write down a ‘Day of the Dead ’ related word for each letter from A - Z. Whoever finishes first, wins! Game 2: Using the letters in ‘Day of the Dead ’ create as many words as you can. All words must be more than two letters long. The person who creates the most words, wins!.

Directions: Ask your host/ teacher to finish each word / phrase on their own game-sheet. Guests will predict what they think the host will write. If the answers are the same, then they score points!

Instructions: When the host says “Go,” get guests to fill in the blanks with words that begin with the same letter. When they have finished they will shout “Día de Muertos!”

Once they have located the clues they have to unscramble the letters which will reveal a Day of the Dead related phrase. Separate sheet provided which contains clues and answer. The word that is unscrambled is the Spanish word for Day of the Dead. Therefore, it will be ideal for older learners or learners who can research the word on Google.

INSTRUCTIONS: Divide players into teams. Each team has sixty seconds to memorise all of the items in the box. Players are not permitted to take a photo of the game sheet or to write any of the objects down on paper at this stage of the game. After the allocated time is up, the players will be asked to turn over their game sheets. They will then have three minutes to write down, from memory, every item that appears in the box below. The team who can memorise the most items, wins! Task sheet and game sheet included.
