Fun lesson filler. Give your students a sheet each. INSTRUCTIONS: DRAW FIVE BUTTONS ON THE GRID BELOW. YOU AND YOUR PARTNER WILL TAKE IT IN TURNS TO SAY A CHARACTER’S NAME AND A NUMBER. THE AIM OF THE GAME IS TO LOCATE EACH OTHERS BUTTONS AND DESTROY THEM. THE PERSON WHO DESTROYS ALL OF THE BUTTONS FIRST, WINS!

When the Teacher says “Go,” the learners fill in the blanks with words that begin with the same letter. When they have finished they will shout “Coraline!” Two games are included as well as a blank game sheet.

Directions: Ask your partner to finish each word / phrase on their own game-sheet. Predict what you think they will write and if your answers are the same, then you score points!

Five worksheets designed for students who are studying the poem *Exposure. * Worksheets included: Write a brief overview of each stanza worksheet Use the ‘SMILE’ approach to help you to analyse the poem. 8X key quote cards. Get learners to cut out the cards which feature nine key quotes from the poem. On the back of each card they can write an analysis of the quote or even laminate the cards to use as revision cards. Poetry exam question game. Learners will roll a die and then answer the question that the die lands on. Cube task sheet. Get learners to cut out and glue the cube together and when they have done this, they will roll the cube and complete the nominated question. Questions relate to the poem.

Quiz and answer sheet provided. Students will try to guess the names of each popular TikTok star by looking at the images on the page.

A short AIC quiz. Great to use as a lesson starter to get learners familiar with some key quotes. Can also lead a discussion on the meaning of each quote and how they fit in with the themes in the play.

A fifteen question multiple choice quiz. Students will be given a each from each poem and must write down on the white board which poem it is from. Answers are given on the PPT once they have answered the question. These A3 posters can be stuck on the classroom wall to help learners with structuring their speech writing. The posters feature an memorable acronym that makes sure they include everything needed to persuade / engage their audience. Poster 2 - Can also be used as a template. It gives learners more information on how they should structure their speech and expands on poster 1.

Get your learners to create their own Encanto themed word search. Instructions: The learner will think of 12 words that are associated with this movie. They will write these words in the grid boxes and on the lines below the grid. Following this, the learner will then fill the remaining grid boxes with random letters of the alphabet. Get your learners to swap their completed word search with a peer, who will then complete it.

Quiz and answer sheet provided. Learners will try to find each characters name in the word search.

An A4 sheet for new learners to fill out so that staff can get to know their interests.

15X Poetry Anthology Flashcards. Double-sided. Printed double-sided on A4 paper. 4 cards per sheet. Each card, on the reverse, has a number of key quotes from each poem. These can be cut-out and laminated to be used as flashcards for revision. I have also attached 15x blank cards so you can get your students to locate and write down their own key quotes. In order to print correctly, print ‘double sided’ whilst also choosing the ‘flip on short edge’ option.
