The board contains a series of 5 prompts which will allow the learner to build their short gothic story: setting, main character, spooky object, main theme and conflict. Give the student a dice piece. They will roll the dice piece 5 times moving from left to right of the board. For example: The first number refers to the setting, the second number rolled refers to the story’s main character…etc… The learner will then write a short story based on what they rolled on the prompt board.
