An activity I have designed about pastimes in French. Would suit Yr9, Yr10, Yr11. I have used it as a starter. Students go around the class and ask each other for the answers. Each person who gives an answer signs their initials. The idea is to try and get your students to communicate with everyone in the room. Enjoy and don't forget to feedback :-)
A presentation I designed for my Yr7 on school topic. Teaching vocabulary and how to write sentences describing bag. Positive and Negative (tengo/no tengo). Teaching the verb "tener" in present tense. Enjoy and don't forget to feedback! :-)
A worksheet with some questions on Québec which I did with my Year 8 after studying "La Francophonie". Students answered the questions in pairs and created a Powerpoint presentation which they then shared with the rest of the class.
Three little bits of text I wrote on school with some comprehension questions. Nice reading exercise to check on learning or HWK task. I did it with my Yr7. Good for colours and clothes recognition too.
Enjoy and don't forget to feedback!
A good old fashion dictation about my holidays in El Salvador I did with my Yr10 GCSE French. (162 words). Followed by comprehension exercise. Enjoy and don't forget to feedback! :-)
This is a fun translation exercise on "unreal" rules at the Sports Centre. It should make you and your students laugh for most of them. Good task to help with using dictionary. Enjoy and don't forget to feedback! :-)
This is a trapdoor activity to get your students to practise their speaking skills. It is played in pairs. Each person chooses an option for each sentence in their head. One starts reading the text and trying to find out the other’s choices. Each time they make a choice, the partner nods or shakes his/her head. If the choice is correct the person continues until they get it wrong. When they get it wrong, the other person has a go. The aim of the game is to finish first. I did this with my Yr10 students and they enjoyed it a lot! Enjoy and don’t forget to feedback!

Despacito is a fashionable song at the moment that my Yr10 and Yr9 seem to love and sing in the corridors. As an end of term treat, I have done a little worksheet to go with this song. It has a text in Spanish explaining the background of this song with vocab and comprehension questions. Then a fill the gaps activity before trying to sing it as a class. I have also put the answers to vocab/questions and full lyrics. Enjoy...!
