This is an excellent FREE Scheme of Work that contains over 6 hours of focused lessons exploring the themes, plot and characters of Romeo and Juliet through Drama. Originally written for As Level students but has been adapted now for the new GCSE content. It could be taught as a Drama Scheme of Work. It could also be taught as an English Scheme of Work to accompany existing study. The creative and active approach to the study provides a welcome break and change for some students.

Three beautifully designed, easy to read and clear plot outline sheets to be used with students of all ages, especially students aged 14 to 16. Each handout has an outline of the plot with references to which day the events take place on and where in each act and scene the actions takes place in. The high achievers sheet covers 3 pages in thorough detail, the low ability sheet covers all the important detail on 1 page and the other sheet is concise but detailed and spread over 2 sheets. Ideal for students of all ages, especially students studying for their GCSE’s or equivalent qualifications. The low ability plot sheet can easily be used for young students at Key Stage 2 or 3.
