This, in class, assessment task is the practical extension of the workbook Mandatory Technology - Built Environments (Australian Curriculum) by the same author. It requires students to create their own house designs using free 3D design software (Sketchup Make or Sweet Home 3D) with consideration for the issues of climate and environment. It is designed to assess not only the learning involved in the workbook but also the practical application of it.
