Alien Listening Game

Listening game for one adult and up to 6 players, can also be played with a single child as part of an intervention. Adult reads out a simple instruction and the child places the object where they have been asked. A lovely game that i have used with 4 and 5 year old. Once the children are familiar with the game they can then take turns to create their own instruction to say out loud to the group.

The child writes the simple CVC word then on the second part writes the same word but needs to identify the missing sound to create the phase4 word. 3 sheets have no letters to help where as one sheet has the CVC word already written for them and they just need to write in the missing sound.

2 games in one which can be used in both Phonics and Speech and Language. The first game is bingo. There are 6 bingo boards and 15 pictures. Also I have created square counters, which are much easier to cut out. I found the circular counters too time consuming to cut. The 2nd game is a game of pairs. Print out the 15 pictures twice to create a game where the pictures can be placed upside down and children take it in turns to turn 2 cards at a time to find a matching pair.
