Flashcards of the days of the week in English. Weekdays have a chalkboard, and weekends have a house to help young children begin to understand the days of the week, while also learning the foreign language vocabulary. The Flashcards can be used for sorting, games, or even displayed in your calendar area. The days of the week wheel duplicates chalkboard and house images to give consistency to lessons while teaching yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Finally, this resource includes a few 1x1 images of the chalkboard and house that can be used to create your own additional resources.

Months of theYear Game - SPANISH

Printable game board to teach the months of the year. Students roll a die and move the appropriate number of spaces. If they translate the Spanish month correctly, they stay on the spot. If they get it wrong, they move back to where they started. The first person to arrive at the weekend wins! Note: I use Sorry or Monopoly game pieces with my students. Variations: *Have the students move back one space (or x spaces) from where they landed if wrong or forward one space if right. *Take an extra turn if you land on the current day and answer correctly. *For older students, have them use the word in a French sentence (September is the ninth month. My birthday is in May).
