This covers the whole KS3 Topic for current electricity with the following. This can be printed as a workbook, or pages used as worksheets. No other notes or worksheets are required if using this to cover the KS3 course. It includes practicals, theory and scientific skills. The electrcity mindmap can be printed separately on A3 for pupils to fill in for revision.
Current 5 activities with answers
Voltage 4 activities with answers
Resistance 4 activities with answers
Mindmap of the whole topic, blanks and answers
CURRENT
Conductors and Insulators. This includes a definition, space to practise drawing a circuit diagram to test items to confirm if they are conductors or insulators. A practical can be carried out and pupils complete 2 tables with items and materials, as either conductors or insulators.
Heating Effect of a Current. This includes a definition and the opportunity to make a fuse from nichrome wire to show the heating effect of a current as the wire glows read and melts. This can be a class practical or demo. This introduces the ammeter and pupils measure the current the wire melts at.
Current and Charge. The definition is introduced for current. Pupils are helped to draw circuit diagrams for series and parallel circuits. Pupils are introduced to the rule of current in series and parallel.
Current in a Series and Parallel Circuit. This allows pupils to calculate current in different circuits and gain more confidence with reading circuit diagrams.
Current in a Series and Parallel Circuit. The outcome is the same as above, but has extension circuits near the bottom, as the circuits are more complicated. This is a tricky KS3 worksheet so good for differentiation.
VOLTAGE aka POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE
Answers are included for all worksheets.

Enhance physics learning with our comprehensive GCSE Particle Model of Matter bundle. Tailored for varied abilities, it includes worksheets, teacher answers, and editable formats. Perfect for effective classroom differentiation.
This bundle has all the 3 worksheets for all the Particle Model of Matter calculations at GCSE. It contains a pupil worksheet with blanks and a teachers sheet with answers.
Density
Specific Heat Capacity
Latent Heat of Vaporisation
Latent Heat of Fusion
Pressure Law (Triple Only)
This is a standard format for physics calculations, to be used in class to introduce and practise each formula. These have been honed on lower set pupils and allows differentiation in the following way:
Page 1 Notes and examples completed with the teacher
Page 2 Table, allows pupils to practise using the formula and manipulating it
Page 2 Table, higher order skills for stronger pupils include s.f. and prefixes
Page 2 Questions, these get harder as you work down the questions.
The expectation is that this activity can stop when some pupils have finished the final questions, as this will still have allowed all pupils to practise problem solving. The answers can be given so pupils can complete questions for revision at the end of the top if they didn’t complete all the questions in class.
There is a pdf version and a .docx version that is editable.
This bundle has all the 12 worksheets for all the Forces and Motion calculations at GCSE. It contains a pupil worksheet with blanks and a teachers sheet with answers.
Newton’s 2nd Law F=ma
Acceleration
Change in Momentum
Momentum
Hooke’s Law
Elastic Potential Energy
Mechanics (suvats)
Moments
Pressure force and area
Speed distance time
Velocity displacement time

This booklet contains all the GCSE Physics formula that need to be memorised. There is a worksheet for the formulas and they were created and then honed on weaker pupils who find it challenging to apply mathematics in Physics. The familiar format used for each topic with formulae puts the pupils at ease and they feel comfortable in using new formula in this way. The completed sheet is also included for the teachers reference. To differentiate, stronger pupils can start at the end and work backwards. Weaker pupils can then complete the first page with the teacher and try to complete the table overleaf.
