This is an ideal resource for Black History Month (African-American Month) that falls in October in the UK and February in the USA and will help students' Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) development by learning about the history and heritage of communities and the lives of those that overcame the challenges they faced.

This resource contains 10 addition and subtraction worksheets using Chinese symbols for numbers. Pupils complete adding and taking away tasks and insert the corresponding Chinese symbol. Tasks include:

The symbols could be used by pupils to make up their own Chinese sums.
2. Counting and Adding Money - Differentiated Worksheet
