A breakdown of all the questions from the KS2 2018 Maths papers, split in to the various year group strands they have come from. Some questions overlap as they share curriculum strands from two different year groups. Included is also a breakdown of the questions in statistical form to show what each year group contributed in terms of marks. These are useful for sharing with staff in KS2 to show the types of questions children are expected to do for each year group as well as breaking questions down if people wish to practise easier or more challenging questions.

A quiz to use at the end of the year with children as a fun activity. Included is the quiz which has eight different rounds with eight questions that have multiple choice answers as well as a tie breaker question if needed. There is also an answer sheet for children to record their answers and a PowerPoint with the answers to the quiz.

Attached is my final submission for NPQSL that scored 26/28. Certain sections have been removed for confidentiality but the full assessment itself is there. I’ve uploaded it in the hope it is useful for anyone doing the NPQSL as I know when we were doing it we were disappointed with the lack of free examples to look at.

Make Maths Matter is a 12 week intervention that is designed to build children's number confidence in Key Stage Two. Within the scheme is an explanation of the thinking behind the way it has been planned out and why it is important to start with the basics. There is then a mini plan for the three sessions each week to be led by either a teacher or teaching assistant that explains the purpose of each session. This is finished off by an Appendix that explains particular concepts in more details and gives a brief description of how each resource is to be used.

A simple whole class marking sheet that can be used for KS2 English. This can then be used to feedback, with this being used effectively for independent writing as it doesn't give specific advice to a specific individual but looks at what has worked well, where to improve and other areas of focus. The PDF version is a simple print and write on sheet while the PowerPoint offers the opportunity to type notes instead.

A comprehensive set of resources for anyone to be able to teach a block on writing discussion texts. Planned for Year 5 but very easily adaptable to Year 4 or Year 6. Included are: Full lesson plans for 15/16 lessons, with differentiated activities for children. IWB slides for every lesson that go step by step through the lesson. (N.B. In the shared writing sessions, the example paragraphs just need playing around with to a new topic. Whilst I could have done these, it is more powerful to do them with the class at the time) Resource sheets required for lessons. Word banks for children to use. A self-assessment/ teacher assessment marking sheet that helps children assess as they write and can then be used for a simple marking sheet to pick out positives and targets for children.

Complete set of planning, slides and worksheets to provide 14 lessons on the four operations, working between written methods, mental methods and also working on the order of operations. This has been written with Year 6 in mind but the resources are easily adaptable for other year groups. The worksheets have written with mastery in mind and so follow the following structure: Worksheet One - Works on practise and fluency Worksheet Two - Practise, fluency and reasoning Worksheet Three - Practise, fluency, reasoning and problem solving Worksheet Four - Practise, fluency, reasoning and problem solving (This is a spare worksheet should children finish problem solving on worksheet three) Differentiation is achieved through self-assessment of own abilities to choose which worksheet they do. The worksheets will be clear in which is LA, MA and HA. Lesson 1 and 2 - Column addition and subtraction Lesson 3 and 4 - Same as Lesson 1 and 2 but with decimal numbers Lesson 5 and 6 - Adding and subtracting mentally Lesson 7 and 8 - Written multiplication Lesson 9 and 10 - Written division Lesson 11 and 12 - Mental multiplication Lesson 13 and 14 - Order of operations These have had great success in previous lessons and challenge and stretch children of all abilities.

This is useful for an assembly or discussion in class as it focuses on what littering is and some of the significant issues that come about from littering. To finish, there is a link to a video that looks at removing rubbish from canals because of how plastic is making it to the oceans.

10 practise Arithmetic papers with 20 questions in each to use for practise in Year 6 ahead of the new Key Stage 2 Arithmetic assessment. These questions have been formed by using the exemplar material and other practise papers released. These have then been used to look at the type of questions that appear regularly, with these then being tested regularly throughout the various tests. It will provide children with test practise as well as regularly being able to review what children understand and what they still need to work on.
